A coalition of environmentalists and elected officials is calling for $1 billion in spending and new legislation to help New York meet its climate goals.
The coalition's proposals include funding for critical climate, transportation, housing, and energy programs, as well as the passage of acts to eliminate fossil fuel infrastructure expansion, fund infrastructure improvements, and transition to renewable energy. [ more ]
