Staten Island HS boys' hoops (3 games): St. Peter's, Farrell, Curtis each lose to Brooklyn foes

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Senior Nico Parlanti tallied a team-high 21 points, but St. Peter's couldn't protect a fourth-quarter lead and dropped a 66-60 CHSAA AA overtime decision to visiting Xaverian on Wednesday. Aaron Vazquez, Tyler Schoenberg and Noah Scott teamed for an additional 22 points for the Eagles, who dropped to 9-11 overall after suffering their second consecutive loss. Head coach Ryan Woods' team will now direct its attention to Saturday's SIHSL Tournament quarterfinals.
