Brooklyn's waterfront is set to roll back into motion this spring as the Pier 2 roller skating rink reopens for its 12th season on March 27, ushering in a lively mix of music, movement and community along the East River. Located within Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 2 has long been a hub for recreation, but the return of its open-air roller rink signals the start of the season and an influx of outdoor activities for families.

Brad Stulberg took to Instagram to share that the country's approach to youth sports could be part of the reason why. Ruby Hill Railyard in Denver is now open to snowboarders and skiers and features 11 rails and boxes of varying configurations and skill levels. This terrain park can be found off South Platte River Drive and West Florida Avenue in the Mile High City and is free to use. "Rubyhill railyard is now OPEN!! Crazy to think we can open with the snow drought this year! The volunteers killed it! Snowmaking went incredible! Thank you."

Pushing limits drives snowboarding, but protection has to keep pace. Athlete safety has always been personal to me. At The Snow League, we're always looking for ways to better support athletes at the highest level. Piloting Crash Patch was one way we encouraged our athletes to make smart decisions in the moment.

Norway tallied a record 41 medals, 8 more than the second-place Americans, who have a population over 60 times that of Norway. Norway's 18 gold medals at the 2026 games were also a record, with 6 of these golds coming from cross-country skier Johannes Høsflot Klæbo.
