iPhone 17e will add MagSafe, use C1X modem, include 18MP selfie camera and A19 chip, have thinner bezels, and retain a 48MP rear camera.
The M5 is a brand new chip being launched alongside today, and will also be making an appearance on the 14-inch MacBook Pro and the Apple Vision Pro. It has up to a 10-core CPU layout with up to 4 performance cores and 6 efficiency cores. Much like with the M4, Apple once again claims that the performance cores in the M5 are the world's fastest CPU cores. It's combined with a new 10-core GPU design that also features dedicated neural accelerators in each core.
Some new owners of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air alike are saying that the Wi-Fi briefly cuts out and then reconnects after the phone is unlocked, as reported on Monday by MacRumors. The issue has also been affecting CarPlay connections in vehicles that use a Wi-Fi connection. So far, affected iPhone 17 users have been chiming in on several different forums, including the Apple Support Community.
