Breeze Airways has redefined budget flying in the U.S. by focusing on underserved routes and providing a comfortable customer experience.
The new service will connect Tampa International Airport (TPA) with Nassau's Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS), according to the airline. The flights will operate twice per week on Thursdays and Sundays starting June 11 and mark the fourth international destination for Breeze. To celebrate the new route, Breeze is offering discounted one-way fares starting at just $99. To take advantage, travelers must book by 11:59 p.m. PT on Feb. 3.
As a family of five who travels a lot, I'm always looking for the best deal because air travel can get expensive very quickly. When we planned a recent trip from Portland, Maine, to Pittsburgh over the holiday break, low-cost flights from Breeze Airways caught my eye. They were also the only direct routes available, yet I was hesitant to book with the low-budget airline after reading negative online reviews that mentioned frustrations about delayed flights and hidden fees.
"After adding an astounding 29 new cities and 88 routes to our network last year and announcing seven new cities and 40 routes so far this year, Breeze is quickly becoming the fastest growing airline in the industry," David Neeleman, Breeze Airways' founder and CEO, said in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure.
