Hayao Miyazaki's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind Box Set is on sale for an excellent price at Amazon. Normally $80, the 1,104-page, slipcased collection is discounted to only $47.89. Nausicaa is Miyazaki's only manga series, and the hardcover box set collects the complete story arc. Amazon's current price essentially matches the best deal we've seen all year ($47.61)--and that deal didn't stick around for long. Amazon estimates orders placed today will ship within one to three weeks.

A collectible box set of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series is on sale for cheap at Amazon. As part of the retailer's Prime Big Deal Days early book sale, the leather-cloth-bound editions of all five novels in the fantasy series is discounted to only $36.12 (was $85). The 58% discount is the biggest price cut in two years. You need to be a Prime member to take advantage of this deal, otherwise the set will cost you $45.

Dragonlance Chronicles is one of the most celebrated Dungeons & Dragons book series, but physical editions had been difficult to find for reasonable prices in recent years. That changed when Random House Worlds published the original trilogy as an omnibus earlier this year.
