3 months agoDetroit Lions NFL statue lawsuit is one of the weirder design disputes we've seen
Photographer Allen Kee is suing the Detroit Lions and others for copyright infringement over the use of his photo in a statue of footballer Barry Sanders.
The statue was unveiled last year and a behind-the-scenes video shows Kee's photo in the background, presumably being used as a reference.
The Detroit Lions have responded to the lawsuit, stating that they believe the claims lack merit and are prepared to defend their position. [ more ]
