Banana bags claim to keep bananas fresh longer, but results vary widely among users.
The basic idea is that you can use banana peels as fertilizer for your garden simply by soaking them in water for a while and then using the 'tea' to water your garden or houseplants.
Fiber comes in two forms - soluble and insoluble. The former helps to regulate blood sugar levels in in the body, while the latter promotes healthy digestion by keeping food moving through the gut.
