The Pac-12 has extended an invitation to Texas State to join the conference as an all-sports member beginning in the summer of 2026, confirming a strategic move to bolster membership.

The initiative will start with a $45 million state investment which will grow and stabilize SSU's key programs and restore some faculty positions and academic degrees at the campus.
