Sinners leads with 16 Oscar nominations; One Battle After Another has 13, Frankenstein nine, and ten films compete for Best Picture.
The Academy Awards have announced its 2026 shortlist for 12 categories, including Best Original Song and Best Original Score. Among the 15 potential Song nominees, Nine Inch Nails, Ed Sheeran, and one of those earworm tracks from KPop Demon Hunters all made the initial cut.
