WESTON, MASS. - Governor Maura Healey and the members of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation are urging residents to stay off the roads ahead of Sunday's snowstorm. Yesterday, Healey activated the state's emergency operation center and declared Monday a "work from home day." "Stay indoors as much as you can if you got to go outdoors, make sure you don't have any exposed skin," she said. "Make sure today you have everything that you need."
Investigators say that on Sept. 18, transit police responded to the agency's IT department at Park Plaza after 40 Cisco network modules - which help carry data and are valued at approximately $3,069 each - were reported missing. According to Hayden, an investigator traced the stolen equipment to Batista-Sales after searching eBay listings for the missing modules. That search led to an account under the username "marcbatist27," which investigators say sold 51 Cisco network modules.

"While local leaders seem intent on putting the needs of criminals first, we're not waiting for the next Iryna," Duffy said in a statement. "Chicago and Boston are on notice to take actions that enhance safety and reduce the crime affecting their riders and transit workers - or risk federal support. This is about standing up for American families who deserve a safe and clean transportation system."
