Canonical has released MicroCloud, an open-source framework that automates the provisioning of cloud computing environments using Linux containers and Snap software packaging and deployment tools.
MicroCloud allows organizations to create and deploy functional cloud computing environments in minutes, even in edge computing environments, and enables over-the-air updates and automated rollbacks.
MicroCloud aims to make cloud computing more accessible and democratize DevOps workflows for IT administrators, while also improving cybersecurity by mitigating infrastructure misconfigurations. [ more ]
