Stronghold Launches Mid-Range S8X Roaster, Unveils Home-Friendly S2
Briefly

Stronghold has introduced the S8X, a commercial coffee roasting machine with a 4.5-kilo capacity, aimed at busy cafes and small wholesale accounts. Unveiled at the SCA Expo in Houston, this new model can roast up to 10 pounds of coffee in 7-8 minutes. It features a compact vertical design, 100% electric operation, and enhanced efficiency through a preheating process that optimizes energy use. The S8X also utilizes an affordable halogen heat lamp for ease of maintenance, making it a significant upgrade in Stronghold's lineup.
"We realized we needed a size that easily can handle a super busy cafe, and maybe a few wholesale accounts, or to get up to three to four cafes," Arash Hassanian, CEO of Stronghold's United States distribution partner Roastronix, stated at the Expo.
"We're using the energy that's already inside of the body of the machine before we heat [the air], to save energy," Hassanian explained.
"[The S8X lamp] is easy to find, you can buy it from anywhere," said Hassanian.
