What is a stove fan and how does one work?
Briefly

The air above a wood burning stove gets very hot, but we tend not to feel the benefit; the heat is transferred into walls and surfaces close to the stove.
In a Peltier-type stove fan, heat travels up the fan's conductive frame, making one side hot and the other cool, creating a thermal difference that powers the blades.
