"The pistachio green doors were a feature I completely fell in love with,"
"We added them onto the extension and added other windows and it's just made the space so much airier and brighter,"
"I fell in love with the colour,"
Michelle Dockery and her husband Jasper Waller-Bridge completed a four-year renovation of their west London home featuring pistachio green Crittall-style doors and windows. Interior designer Emma Ainscough helped incorporate the doors into a kitchen and dining extension, increasing natural light and creating an airier, brighter open-plan space. The pistachio shade guided subsequent colour and style choices and reflects a trend toward lighter, cheerful paint tones over darker finishes. The kitchen island was extended and a dining area added for flexible daily living and entertaining. A commissioned red shelving unit provides vivid contrast and displays curated objects and a record player.
