Toddler Boy Bedroom at the Lake House (Forrest's New Room) - The Inspired Room
Briefly

Forrest's bedroom underwent a significant transformation after moving to the new Lake House. Previously, it featured dark brown walls and floral curtains. After painting the walls with Sherwin Williams' Misty and changing the curtains, the room became much lighter and more inviting. The space still retains elements from its previous family, including marks on the ceiling from glow-in-the-dark stars. This nostalgic touch inspired creating a special childhood environment for Forrest, incorporating furniture from his nursery and new additions like sturdy table and chairs for playdates.
The room transformation from a dark brown wall and floral curtains to a light, cheerful space with Misty paint makes it feel much brighter and welcoming.
Creating a childhood bedroom for my son Forrest in this lovely space brings back fond memories of the house's previous family and their children's glow-in-the-dark stars.
Forrest's new room includes cherished pieces from his nursery and newer additions that provide a 'grown-up' feel, especially with a sturdy table and chairs.
I envision many joyful moments for Forrest, like playdates and coloring sessions, around his new table, making it a valuable addition for years to come.
