This Sun-Soaked, 420-Square-Foot Home in Manila Feels Much Larger
Briefly

Dino Tariman's 420-square-foot condo in Taguig City, Metro Manila, started as a bare unit but has been transformed into a stylish home. While the condo was initially intended for rental, he enjoyed decorating it to reflect his personal taste, drawing inspiration from mid-century modern and classic styles. The unit includes built-in cupboards and a spacious bathroom that doubles as a laundry room, contributing to a homey feel despite its modest size. Dino's journey led him to discover the transitional style which perfectly suited his vision.
I also liked how the bathroom was spacious since it also doubled as a laundry room.
Considering that the original intention of the unit is to be rented out, I had the utmost pleasure of decorating it for myself.
Now, this apartment feels already homey, bright, and airy despite the modest floor area.
Google is great at throwing me plenty of design ideas until I chanced upon the transitional style, and it finally clicked on me.
