Turahalli House is designed for a family of three, situated in southern Bangalore near the Turahalli forest. The plot measures 30 feet by 40 feet and is part of a government-planned neighborhood. The architects faced the challenge of creating an airy and spacious home within a relatively smaller footprint. The client’s requirements for openness and space presented contradictions with the site limitations, making the architectural design process complex yet innovative.
