The Bridge over Foša, located within UNESCO's World Heritage Site of Trogir, connects the historic city core to Fortin Park. Designed by Prostorne Taktike, this contemporary steel bridge features an asymmetric hyperbolic paraboloid form that minimizes visual obstruction, preserving views of the city’s heritage. Drawing inspiration from Trogir’s shipbuilding traditions, the bridge employs an internal caisson system and was prefabricated in a local shipyard. With thoughtful material choices and a design focused on pedestrian comfort, it successfully reinforces public space while showcasing the area's industrial capabilities.
The Bridge over Foša intelligently integrates heritage and modern design, creating a pedestrian pathway that connects Trogir’s historic sites while enhancing public experience.
Prostorne Taktike’s design honors Trogir's shipbuilding legacy, reflecting it in the bridge’s structure, which is both visually striking and functionally efficient.
