Sarah Crawford and Aidan Burke personalized their West Village apartment through renter-friendly projects, enhancing their cozy, coastal style. They added navy grasscloth wallpaper and created a gallery wall featuring personal mementos. They customized a budget headboard with fabric from the garment district, costing about $200, and incorporated renter-safe sconces with rechargeable bulbs. Additionally, they updated lighting and window treatments to achieve a comfortable and inviting bedroom in a compact space.
They did, however, do a couple of renter-friendly projects to make the bedroom feel a little more custom and true to their 'cozy and traditional with hints of coastal New England' style.
