Sam Sacks, an interior designer with a background in journalism, pivoted to design after the print industry was hit hard by the 2008 market crash. With a decade of experience detailing interiors and learning from top creatives, Sacks founded her own design firm in Toronto. Emphasizing storytelling in her work, she reflects clients' identities through curated interior spaces. Passionate about travel and inspired by Moroccan design, she combines nostalgia and creativity in her designs while also balancing her family life with three children and personal interests.
"All of a sudden I realized I'd had the most spectacular education an untrained designer could ask for."
"It's the ultimate more-is-more of a deep pattern layered on top of a deep pattern. There is a burst of joy in the use of color..."
