The architects aim to revitalize the village of Riells by reclaiming its historic core around the 11th-century church of Sant Vicenç and cemetery. The design integrates the unique reddish soil of the surrounding Gallifa and d'en Bertí Cliffs into a cohesive public square that enhances accessibility. Features such as a restored well, linear bench, and a shaded area promote social interactions, allowing community members to relax and spend time together. This project exemplifies democratic architecture that prioritizes community needs and integrates natural elements to enhance the overall landscape and historical dialogue.
