"The project occupies two adjoining properties, transformed into adaptable interiors that host everything from fashion editorials and product launches to short stays and small gatherings. The idea grew out of personal history: Michael's family has worked on the street since the 1970s, and he had long imagined restoring one of its buildings."
"Today the spaces function as a kind of open framework—furnished with Danish design pieces and natural materials—but intentionally left flexible. Brands and collaborators move through regularly, using the rooms as a backdrop for photography, installations, and events. The result is less a traditional rental than a working interior—part residence, part studio, and part evolving showroom embedded in the city."
Noura Residency occupies two adjoining properties on Sankt Peders Stræde in Copenhagen, a historic street known for bakeries and restaurants. Created by photographer Michael Falgren, whose family has worked on the street since the 1970s, the space functions as a hybrid environment serving multiple purposes. The residency operates as an open framework furnished with Danish design pieces and natural materials, intentionally designed for flexibility. Brands and collaborators regularly use the rooms for photography, installations, and events. The spaces blend residential living, working studio, and evolving showroom functions within the urban context, creating a dynamic venue that transcends traditional rental categories.
