Mural on listed building gets planning consent after council calls it 'high-quality art'

Created for the Cheltenham Paint Festival, the mural aimed to prevent graffiti and was created with local business support, lacking necessary planning permission. The Council approved it as 'high-quality art.'

The mural depicts a woman on a horse and was intended to combat frequent graffiti on the building. Despite concerns from the Civic Society, the Council allowed it to stay due to its historical relevance.
