The redevelopment of the Mario Sironi Academy of Fine Arts on Via Duca degli Abruzzi in Sassari reactivates the relationship between the institution and the surrounding urban fabric. The design reshapes the complex's boundaries to increase permeability and public accessibility, creating a welcoming and contemporary educational environment. Lerua Studio led the architectural design with architects Fabiana Ledda and Paolo Russo. Collaborators included Studio CST, engineer Francesco Sanna, architect Riccardo Onnis, and geologist Maddalena Moroso. Engineering was provided by IP Ingegneria and construction by ABE. The intervention extends beyond restoration to make the academy an active urban component.
