Liten Hytte is a residential architecture project designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, completed in 2024. Located on the shore of Lake Michigan near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, the 1000 square foot house sits in a popular summer destination area characterized by modest clapboard cabins and cottages. The region offers easy access to pristine beaches and clear lake waters. The project was led by architects Peter Q. Bohlin, FAIA, and William T. James. Construction involved Zelinski Brothers as general contractor, with structural engineering by Avanti Engineering and specialized work by Riegle Metals for siding and roofing. The design incorporates products from premium manufacturers including Caesarstone, Cappellini, Design Within Reach, and Jenn-Air.
