OBO Estudi designed a single-story residential project in Sant Esteve de Palautordera, a location near the Montseny Natural Park. The 112 square meter building was completed in 2023. Despite the privileged natural environment, urban conditions in the area necessitate minimal separation between homes. The developers requested single-story construction to comply with local regulations and site constraints. Lead architects Oriol Troyano, Bernat Sancho, and Oscar Farres developed the design using Ceramicas Arcis materials. The project demonstrates how residential architecture can adapt to restrictive urban planning requirements while maintaining connection to natural surroundings.
