Despite the nearby beach, the surrounding neighborhood is dense. The project responds by directing attention inward toward a lush jungle landscape. The design celebrates island energy of Hawaii through inward-focused spatial organization and landscape connection. The house spans 476 m² and is associated with a multi-disciplinary team including architecture, landscape, structural engineering, and construction support. Materials and products include finishes and fixtures from multiple listed manufacturers.
