A family abandoned a historic farmhouse north of Passau after the grandmother, the last in many generations to live there, moved out. Water infiltration, rot, and poor foundations caused severe damage, and consulted "experts" declared the building unsalvageable, leaving the family discouraged. The project assembles refurbishment, project management, and engineering expertise under Maximilian Hartinger Architekt with Benjamin Neumeier, Buro Bergmann, Ingenieurburo Hausladen, and Restaurierung Franz Kaltenecker to confront structural, sustainability, and restoration challenges.
