A Michelin-starred chef moved into a 90-year-old wooden house located in a fishing village in Akune City, southern Japan. This relocation was influenced by the chef's commitment to local materials and traditions. The architectural approach aimed to echo this ethos by integrating regional identity and honoring cultural continuity. The project seeks to harmonize the historical context of the house with contemporary design elements while respecting the surrounding environment and local craftsmanship.
