The former Catford Constitutional Club and farmhouse will reopen as The Catford House, following extensive restoration by the Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency (GCDA). Established to uncover the building's rich history from farmhouse to pub, this refurbished venue will offer a community kitchen, flexible spaces, and host various activities including social gatherings and performances. GCDA, with 40 years of experience, ensures the venue only supports local jobs and suppliers. This project exemplifies a commitment to cultural and social regeneration, allowing local residents to actively contribute to future events.
The Catford House exemplifies the Council's commitment to regeneration, combining conservation with community engagement to revitalize Catford's historical architecture for local use.
This restoration effort aims to breathe new life into a historic venue, making it a diverse community space while promoting local economy and culture.
The GCDA is dedicated to operating The Catford House, ensuring it serves as a hub for community activities and supports local employment through partnerships.
