Briefly

The Spindulys printing house, a key industrial site in Kaunas, is being revitalized into a modern school. This formerly significant printing facility, operational from 1928 to 2009, played an essential role in Lithuania's printing history, including the minting of national coins. Rather than demolishing the structure, the architects aim to adapt it for educational use, maintaining its industrial aesthetic. The new design reflects a progressive educational philosophy, fostering creativity and collaboration among students while preserving the building's character and historical value.
The revitalization of the Spindulys printing house aims to create an innovative school environment that fosters creativity and community while respecting the building's historical significance.
Located in central Kaunas, the former Spindulys printing press will be transformed into a modern school, preserving its industrial heritage while meeting contemporary educational needs.
