Coney Island woman says bathroom is falling apart and has had little help from NYCHA management
Briefly

A woman from Coney Island, known as 'T', has been battling with NYCHA for two years to resolve severe issues in her bathroom caused by a leak. Despite multiple visits from management, repairs have only been temporary and superficial, leaving her home in disrepair. A large hole remains above her sink and there are ongoing concerns about safety and health for her and her children. NYCHA claims they are working on the issue, but 'T' feels overwhelmed and dissatisfied with the lack of a permanent solution.
A woman who goes by the name of 'T' says her bathroom walls have been crumbling for the past two years due to ongoing leak.
They keep coming in, patching it up, plastering over and not finding out the real problem in the real issue that's going on, said T.
NYCHA staff are actively working to trace the source of the leak affecting this resident's bathroom walls.
NYCHA encourages residents in need of assistance to call the Customer Contact Center at 718-707-7771 or submit work tickets through the MyNYCHA application.
