El Cajoncito, a seasonal stormwater channel in La Paz, is being reimagined into a linear public corridor to enhance urban connectivity, mobility, and flood resilience. The masterplan includes new infrastructure such as a pedestrian and cycling path, a vehicular bridge, and a sports complex. These improvements aim to connect the waterfront malecón to nearby neighborhoods while addressing flooding issues. The sports complex features various sports facilities and was designed with community input. So far, about 40% of the masterplan has been executed, including progress on the cycling path and completion of the sports complex.
