Campeggi Wood-Framed Camp Furniture for Indoors and Out
Briefly

At Milan's Salone del Mobile, Campeggi introduced collapsible, wood-framed indoor-outdoor furniture that combines innovation with tradition. Celebrating its sixtieth anniversary, the brand showcased new designs inspired by classic campaign furniture. Key highlights included the award-winning Brando Camp Bed by Giuseppe Arezzi, noted for its versatile design and comfort, and the Mehari collection by Davide Biancucci, which features modern takes on safari-style furniture. Both collections emphasize practicality, adaptability, and style, reflecting contemporary needs in design.
The Como-based heritage brand specializes in bed boxes and other “convertibles.” For its sixtieth year, Campeggi unveiled these new, made-entirely-in-Italy designs that reference classic campaign furniture.
Giuseppe Arezzi's Brando was elected Chaise Longue of the Year at the IDEAT Design Awards held at the start of Milan's design week. Arezzi specializes in multifunctional designs for modern nomads.
Davide Biancucci's Mehari designs offer a 21st century take on the safari chair and ottoman made of varnished ash and removable, washable canvas.
The pieces all fold flat and can be hung from loops. Campeggi will be offering the Mehari collection starting in September.
