The open L-shaped layout remained unchanged to preserve flow. Existing cabinetry was retained for sustainability while upper cabinets on the sink wall were removed to visually open the space. The existing tile backsplash was kept and capped with custom open wall shelves to create brightness and display tableware. Design efforts organized the footprint into three zones: cooking, dining, and a bespoke bar built for entertaining. Collected artwork and travel treasures guided finishing choices and personalization.
