High grasses, two shrubs, and an oak occupy a site left vacant after a row of dilapidated workers' houses was demolished in the 1970s. The demolition left an empty, unlaid-out area that evolved into an accidental green lacking deliberate design and functional amenities. The current green originated from the absence of buildings rather than planned landscaping. The city recently decided to subdivide the park and to reinstate the building block by completing surrounding development. The project area measures 175 m and reached completion in 2023. Multiple manufacturers supplied building products including Reynaers Aluminium, Grohe, RENSON, Wienerberger, Aco, Aiphone, Joris Ide, Knauf, Novy, Recticel, Ubbink, and Velux.
