""I wanted them to arrive in this room and feel they're in a different place," Lawson says."
"Comfort was key in the sunroom and library where a daybed became a daily napping spot, the windows were covered in custom Pindler curtain fabrics to withstand the sun."
"The homeowners were open to adding color, pattern, and textiles—all Lawson signatures—to anchor the spaces."
"In the living room, a Navajo blanket from Shiprock in Santa Fe hangs above the sofa, and in the bedroom, an antique patchwork chintz quilt covers the bed."
Lawson designed a cohesive flow between rooms by using the same jute rug and painting window frames Cola by Farrow & Ball. Comfort was prioritized in the sunroom and library, featuring a daybed and custom curtain fabrics. A vintage McGuire chair was chosen for its proportions. The homeowners embraced color, pattern, and textiles, with a Navajo blanket in the living room and an antique patchwork chintz quilt in the bedroom, enhancing the unique character of each space.
