Raise the alarm! The Burglar is making their long-anticipated return to The Sims
Briefly

The Sims 4 has finally brought back the iconic burglar NPC, a notable absence since the game’s launch over ten years ago. This exciting reintroduction comes with Patch 176, which launched on February 25th, and not only includes the burglar, Robin Banks, but also reintroduces burglar alarms and police officers. Players can now actively attempt to thwart burglaries if their Sims have specific perks. This update is free for all players, setting the stage for upcoming content with the Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack.
Simmers can once again bolt upright in a cold sweat in the middle of the night worried they might have heard that unforgettable music sting, thanks to base game Patch 176.
The patch rolled out across all platforms on February 25th, and thankfully also brings back burglar alarms and police officers, as well as the option for Sims with certain species or career perks to attempt to foil that sneaky sim by themselves.
