Located in the Tremona district of Mendrisio, the project occupies a steep, sloping site that enables a bold architectural intervention. A single-family house emerges as a cast-concrete monolith, physically reading as one mass that integrates with the site's natural soil morphology. The design emphasizes volumetric solidity and direct engagement with terrain, producing a sculptural presence. The project team includes design by Aldo Celoria, Verena Argenti, Nadia Cristelo Dias and Paolo Tutone, construction by Pietro Calderari and engineering contributions from Brenni Engineering, Cimarolli Fabio and Andrea, P&P studio elettrotecnico and specialists across mechanical, plumbing and metalwork trades.
