On a plot of land with quintas and lush groves in Parque Leloir, a minimal-sized house was projected with an adaptable program. The initial brief targeted a rehearsal room for a music band, with compact dimensions and refuge-like placement amid the forest. The pandemic and the desire to live with more garden space prompted conversion of the program into a family home. The result is a forest shelter conceived as a domestic refuge that negotiates minimal footprint with surrounding vegetation. Design and construction credits include Sol Galliano, Javier Agustin Rojas, Cecilia Longar, Florencia Miranda, Dominique Maggi, and PCA Constructora.
