"It was a big week here at Remodelista and Gardenista: Our latest (sixth!) book is out in the world! Read more about it right over here, and find it wherever books are sold. (P.S. We'd love to see your copy. Snap a photo in your garden (or front stoop, sunny window, or fire escape) and tag us on Instagram @gardenista_sourcebook.)"
""We were never just inside or just outside," said Devon. "It was always both." And also: "The house was like a sibling.""
""Fishs Eddy, the beloved NYC seller of diner dishware, has opened a new outpost in Dumbo that's a combo café and shop," reports Margot. "A cup of coffee is only $1.95.""
Remodelista and Gardenista released their sixth book and encouraged readers to share photos on Instagram @gardenista_sourcebook. The Dinesen Apartment by Danish architect David Thulstrup is open in Brooklyn with appointments available. An exhibition of ink paintings by Okinawa-based Daichiro Shinjo and ceramics by Wonder Valley–based Jonathan Cross is on view at Blunk Space in Point Reyes Station, California. A screening of The Harvard Five prompted observations that houses can blur inside and outside boundaries and that a house can feel like a sibling. Fishs Eddy opened a Dumbo outpost combining a cafe and shop. New product drops include Flynn McGarry–designed aprons and linens, printed percale sheets, and Marston House is open for stays.
