Design team includes Javier Agustin Rojas plus eight collaborators, with Osvaldo Larrain and Tomas Tironi as lead designers. The house occupies a site lower than the neighborhood square in a quiet, historic resort neighborhood. The surrounding area has resisted full urbanization from nearby city growth and retains its original atmosphere, warehouses, and unpaved streets without sidewalks. The building’s siting responds directly to this topography and informal streetscape, engaging with the existing character and industrial elements rather than imposing modernized infrastructure.
