""I stripped the room back so that it would be a blank canvas," Jonny says of the room, which he previously decorated in a gray, white, and black color that he describes as "cold, dull, and unwelcoming.""
""For the walls and paneling I used Farrow & Ball's All White," Jonny says - and the white paint made the biggest difference and makes the room feel much brighter, he says."
""We upcycled old furniture and items by spraying them bright, fun colors," Jonny says."
""My husband has always wanted a voice-controlled room using Alexa, so I decided to buy WiFi sockets, bulbs, light switches and an electric blind that can all be voice-controlled," Jonny says."
Jonny stripped a multipurpose movie, game, and office room back to a blank canvas and replaced cold gray-white-black decor with warmer finishes. He installed professional herringbone flooring and added new paneling, then had walls and paneling painted in Farrow & Ball's All White to boost brightness. He upcycled and spray-painted furniture and accessories in matched mustard and sage-green tones using a hex color code found by his husband, Samuel. He spray-painted electric blinds to match, added WiFi sockets, smart bulbs, switches, and an electric blind for Alexa voice control, and installed a new projector for movie nights.
