Christina Hendricks slowly revamped her home, updating one room at a time and sharing progress on Instagram. She transformed her office by removing a hated purple paint and installing MINDTHEGAP's Tyrol Garten wallpaper in a deep olive-brown tone. She color-drenched the molding, baseboards, and ceiling to prevent a choppy look and to make a long-standing chandelier stand out. She added patterned drapes and layered additional fabrics, intentionally embracing pattern clashing. The redesign relied on sequential choices rather than a rigid plan, resulting in a richly layered, ornate office space.
Actress Christina Hendricks has been slowly revamping her home, one room at a time, and she's taking her Instagram followers along for the ride. Her most recent redo was her office, which Hendricks described as "awful 'magic castle' purple," a color she hated when she first painted it, and still hated a decade later. So she swapped out the purple walls for gorgeous, ornately decorated wallpaper and took everything to the next level.
'I JUST WENT FOR IT!' Hendricks captioned the Instagram post revealing the finished office space. 'I FINALLY stopped overthinking it and added layers and layers. Although the paper is a deep olive green, Hendricks said it was more brown than she expected - but she continued.
