A "50 Shades of Beige" Bedroom Got a Dream Makeover - Even the Brown Wood Furniture Looks Amazing!
Briefly

In a recent makeover, designer Sarah Storms revitalized a beige and brown New Jersey primary bedroom into a serene retreat. The project involved relocating the doorway for improved access and removing a desk to allow more natural light. Storms rearranged the furniture for better flow, moving the bed to a longer wall, which created a more open feel. The previous hodgepodge furnishings were replaced with cohesive, stylish options, resulting in a brighter, more functional space that reflects the homeowner's taste and lifestyle.
The primary bedroom and bathroom were off the main hallway, and only the adults in the home used this bathroom, as their children have a Jack-and-Jill on the other side of the home.
While the bedroom wasn't small, the previous furniture layout made it feel cramped. Simple layout changes made this bedroom feel more spacious and restful.
Before the makeover, the bedroom featured a hodgepodge of wooden furniture and darker textiles, resulting in a cluttered design.
After relocating the door to the hall, we created a suite that not only added function, but also added major appeal.
