Feminist Philosophy, Manuela A. Gomez
Briefly

My process was deeply intentional, incorporating materials in both English and Spanish to ensure relevance and accessibility, reflecting the bilingual nature of our community.
Growing up in Ciudad Juarez, I witnessed firsthand the harsh realities faced by women, from street vendors to workers in maquiladoras, shaping my perspective as an educator.
I aimed to create a visually engaging learning environment that highlights feminist philosophers and artists often overlooked, bridging theory with the real-world experiences of our students.
Through interdisciplinary workshops, we merge philosophy with art, empowering students to explore feminist theory while appreciating the role of creativity in social resistance.
