Cruise assembled Olympic rings on the Hollywood sign before handing off the flag to Team USA athletes, concluding with Red Hot Chili Peppers at Venice beach.
Phoenix and Ezra Koenig performed at the Closing Ceremony; Cruise was earlier seen supporting Team USA in Paris during the games.
