San Francisco fans went 'feral' at Charli XCX's sold-out, skull-rattling show

Even at her pinnacle, Charli XCX still refuses to fit a certain mold. The notoriously genre-agnostic superstar happened to release one of the biggest pop albums of the summer - "Brat" - launching a cultural phenomenon that catapulted her to the highest point of her career thus far.
The performances were electrifying, laden with thumping bass, outspoken sexuality and fleets of undulating backup dancers - not to mention a surprise appearance from Bay Area rapper Saweetie.
When the star finally emerged from behind it, she resembled the hero of some kind of post-apocalyptic video game, loosely draped in a white cutout top and belted lace bloomers, hair gelled in gravity-defying directions.
Charli XCX’s entrance was everything fans could have hoped for, pulsing lights, vibrant energy, and an undeniable connection with the San Francisco crowd as she proclaimed, "San Francisco, what the f-k is up?"
