Poet and author Gabriel Rosenstock dies aged 76

Mr. Rosenstock, a celebrated poet and writer, published over 400 books and was a vital figure in Irish-language literature. He believed in poetry's ability to bridge cultures. Despite his cancer diagnosis, he continued to write and engage with others, expressing that writing helped him make sense of life. He was working on a documentary with his son before his passing. He is survived by his wife and children, and his poetry was seen as a reflection of a deep spiritual quest.
